Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using EdgeIQ Labs services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our services. If you are using these services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Services

EdgeIQ Labs provides subscription-based cybersecurity tools including but not limited to: vulnerability scanners, dark web monitoring, domain security checkers, SSL certificate monitoring, and related intelligence services. We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify tools at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 18 years old to use paid services
• One account per person or organization; shared accounts are not permitted
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

4. Acceptable Use

Our tools are for legitimate security testing and monitoring of systems you own or have explicit authorization to test. You agree NOT to use EdgeIQ Labs tools to:

• Scan or test systems you do not own or lack explicit written authorization to test
• Attempt unauthorized access to any system, account, or data
• Use our infrastructure to conduct DDoS attacks, spam, or other disruptive activities
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract proprietary technology or algorithms
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to our tools without written permission
• Use our services for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
• Upload malware, malicious code, or any content designed to harm users or systems

Violations may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant authorities.

5. Authorized Security Testing Only

EdgeIQ Labs tools perform scans and gather publicly available information. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have proper authorization before scanning any target. We do not condone unauthorized access and are not liable for misuse of our tools. If you are unsure whether your planned use is authorized, consult a legal professional before proceeding.

6. Subscription and Billing

• Recurring billing: Monthly and annual subscription plans are billed on the anniversary of your subscription date. Annual plans are billed once per year at the rate in effect at the time of purchase.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice before the next billing cycle. Price changes apply to the next billing period after notice is given.
• Failed payments: If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect within 7 days and may suspend access to paid tools during that period.
• One-time purchases: Certain tools are sold as one-time payments. These do not recur and include lifetime access to the version purchased.

7. Refund Policy

Subscriptions are non-refundable once the billing period has started. If you believe a refund is warranted due to a service unavailability lasting more than 72 continuous hours, contact us at support@edgeiqlabs.com with your account details and we will evaluate on a case-by-case basis. This policy does not create an entitlement to refunds.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability for all tools but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our control, including but not limited to internet service provider failures, third-party platform outages, or force majeure events.

9. Intellectual Property

• Our content: All content on edgeiqlabs.com, including text, graphics, logos, tool interfaces, and code, is owned by EdgeIQ Labs or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
• Your data: You retain ownership of data you submit to our tools. By using our services, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to deliver the service.
• Scan results: Any vulnerability reports, security findings, or analysis generated by our tools are your data. You may use them for your internal purposes.
• Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works from EdgeIQ Labs content or tool output without written permission.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Our tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that scanning results are complete, accurate, or free from false positives or false negatives. Security findings should be reviewed by qualified professionals before acting on them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EdgeIQ Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of our services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of EdgeIQ Labs services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EdgeIQ Labs, its operators, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of our services; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use our services ceases immediately. Accounts engaged in prohibited activity may be terminated without refund.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of EdgeIQ Labs services shall be resolved in the courts of the United States. You consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
